From the first day of the transfer window, I recorded every claim about players moving in, moving out, and swapping teams, with a single column attached: the origin of that claim. Not the origin "reportedly," but the real origin — a name, a page, a timestamp. By the end of day eleven, I had a self-counted column of data, and that column told a very different story from the impression the social-media timeline produced.

A story about a team importing a foreign player only means something when you know which skill type that region is short of.
I record four indicators for each region: the most recent international result, the depth of the player pool, the output of the youth development system, and the health of the domestic league ecosystem. These four indicators move slowly. They are not affected by a single deal, and precisely for that reason they are a good foundation for evaluating a deal.

At a deeper level, tactics that become standard get decoded and gradually lose their edge. When every team knows how to apply pressure, pressure stops being an advantage; it becomes a minimum condition. At that point, mid-tier teams switch to using physicality and volume to turn the match into an endurance test. This mechanism appears in esports in a different form: when every team knows how to play the early game, the mid-game becomes a matter of counting rotations and cooldowns rather than ideas.
This is why I hold one principle in every transfer-window analysis: I do not issue certain outcomes. I issue a range. If this team holds its repeating pattern, the probability of advancing lies in this range. If it is forced onto another approach, the numbers shift.
